Cover Photo – Plow Day at DeVries Nature Conservancy
DeVries Nature Conservancy invites the public to their Historic Plow Day and Pancake breakfast on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 9am to 2pm. Several horse teams will be on site to plow the sunflower field the old-fashioned way. Admission is free and will include live bluegrass music, horse-drawn wagon rides, and a petting zoo. The nature center and Carriage & Sleigh Museum will also be open for visitors.
In addition to the Plow Day activities, there will be a Pancake Breakfast (9am to noon) and Native Plant Sale (11am to 2pm). For the early birds, there is a Bird Club hike at 8am.
