Successful Scout Tree Sale

by | Dec 26, 2020 | Communities, Features, Ovid

The annual scout tree sale which kick off the weekend after Thanksgiving was a huge success thanks to the help of local business man Ed Arthur of Modern Woodmen in Ovid who matched the fund raising event by the Troop 585 and 114 from the Thanksgiving weekend. Together a total of $3,620 was raised. Proceeds from the tree sales will go towards needed equipment for both scout troops.

*Previously the tree selling event was held in downtown Ovid, the move to hold the event at the Modern Woodmen site on M-21 proved successful. The scouts wish to thank everyone who supported this fund raising event.
