LAINGSBURG – The Wednesday night Euchre League unanimously decided to donate their 2020 fees to the American Legion. Post Commander Alex Haggerty gratefully accepted the donation of $3,000. Due to the COVID -19 Coronavirus distancing regulations the league was unable to complete the year. Members and players appreciate the use of the venue and kitchen for the Wednesday games and annual Euchre Tournament and Prime Rib Dinner.
Schleicher states he “enjoys this great group of people who participate and appreciate the volunteers who make this local activity fun.” A reminder: You do not need to be a member of the American Legion to play in the Winter Wednesday Night Euchre League. “We typically start the first Wednesday in January.” Next year’s schedule will be announced. “We are looking forward to next year.”
