The visiting Hornets fell to 2-2 overall with their first MMAC loss. “I was really proud of our defensive effort tonight,” said coach Ryan Cunningham. “Our defensive focus and energy has been there all year but we need to help ourselves out offensively by hitting our bunnies. Our energy seems to flow with our scoring.” Bates added seven rebounds, three blocks and three steals for a stifling Marauder defense.

Izzy Loynes contributed 2 points, Ellyana Carman one and Hailee Campbell one to the O-E scoring ledger.
