Cover Photo – Elsie Dairy Festival a Success
Car show organizer, Kathy Adair (Pugh), her family and a host of volunteers put on a very successful fund raising car show during the Elsie Dairy Festival. Forty-five cars were on hand for festival goers to enjoy. The proceeds from the show are going to the “Sherbert Foundation”, a foundation set up by Adair in honor of her parents, Shirley and Norbert. Thru that foundation, $1,000 will be given away each year to a high school senior in Ovid-Elsie, Owosso or Corunna High School to further their education. Kathy and her team have agreed to put on another fund raising car show during the Saturday, September 7th Carriage Days event in downtown Ovid.
