Ovid-Elsie FFA Chapter earned the title of State Champions in the Michigan FFA Livestock Evaluation Career Development Event (CDE) on June 13, 2022. The event was held on the campus of Michigan State University during the Michigan Livestock Expo. The team was awarded a Gold Award along with being named State Winner. Members also competed for individual awards with over 60 other participants. Team members were: Jordyn Chant, Willow Evans and Cassidy Harris. Cassidy Harris was the Top Individual for the entire state, Willow Evans was
2nd overall and Jordyn Chant ended the day with an 8th place finish .
The results of this event have earned Ovid-Elsie FFA the privilege of representing the Michigan FFA Association at the National FFA Livestock Evaluation event in Indianapolis, Indiana in October 2022.
