LAINGSBURG — On Sunday, Oct 24 at 1:30 p.m., Laingsburg High School hosted the community for a Grand Opening of the additions at the school.
“Thanks to the community who supported the bond for the new auxiliary gym, auditorium and parking lot at the HS, the new air conditioning at Laingsburg Elementary School, secure entries and numerous other upgrades in the district,” Natalie Elkins said in her remarks. “Thanks to TowerPinkster and Christman for following through with the community’s ideas. We are so proud of our community for investing in the future for the students.”
Elkins was the Board of Education president at the time the bond issue passed. Above: Longtime Board member Patrick Dolan performed the ribbon-cutting as a large crowd looked on. Below: Event-goers were also treated to a big entertainment lineup on the stage in the spacious, new auditorium, which was completed this autumn.
